I am an artist and scientist. As a scientist, I have a wide range of research interests in the biological sciences, from plant systematics, epidemiological modelling, to causality in ecology. As an artist, I specialise in watercolour botanical paintings, and I aim to ground my work in modern scientific principles.
Born and raised in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, I graduated in 2018 from Merton College, University of Oxford, with a BA in Biological Sciences. I moved to Germany in 2019. In 2021, I obtained an MSc. in Evolution, Ecology and Systematics from the Ludwig-Maximilian University Munich (LMU). In April 2026, I defended my doctoral thesis on Myricaria, a riparian shrub found across Eurasia.
I have both UK and German citizenship, and live in Herrsching am Ammersee,
